Hannah Weiss
Assistant Cross Country/Track & Field Coach
Hannah Weiss enters her first year with Wartburg's cross country and track & field programs in 2022-23. Weiss earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and business marketing from Loras College, where she is the program record holder in the indoor 600m, indoor and outdoor 800m, indoor 1000m, indoor and outdoor distance medley relay, indoor sprint medley and indoor and outdoor 4x800 relay. She went on to earn a master's degree in sports leadership from North Central.
Weiss previously served as the director of cross country and track and field at Capital University in Columbus for six years. At Capital, Weiss coached and recruited sprint and distance runners and coordinated the coaching, recruiting, fundraising and general development of both programs. Under her leadership, her student-athletes set 28 new school records, added 64 new names to the men's Top 10 list and 110 to the women's Top 10 and earned 14 Academic All-American honors. She also coached 10 NCAA qualifiers and five All-Americans.
